Comguild:
center for journalism, had its eight annual conference of Journalism and mass
communication students of the Philippines. With the theme “TRUTH, HONESTY, AND
INTEGRITY: keys to Media Transparency”, at AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon
City last August 11, 2013.
The
said conference was participated by numerous schools of journalism and
communication. Teachers, professors, as well as well known news men and other
members of the media team showed up to participate in the seminar.
The
program started with the national anthem and welcome remarks of Ms. Jennifer
Cruz (a.k.a. Ina Alegre); COMGUILD president/CEO, COMGUILD AVP, Events OBB. The
conference catered a learning experience for the students that joined through
their various speakers in the field. First of the lecturers is Ms. Cheryl
Cosim; News anchor/ Television Host/TV 5. Next on list is Mr. Quinito Henson;
sports columnist/sport caster of ‘The Philippine Star’. Next is Ms. Dyan Castillejo;
Senior sports correspondent, ABS CBN. And lastly was Mr. Al Ian Barcelona;
Impact Chief, AIB training events and consulting co. After Lunch time, the
program continued on to award the most outstanding TV programs, as well as the
most outstanding TV and NEWS personalities.
Comguild
